Moving Landscapes

Moving Landscapes was a traveling exhibition consisting of six landscape works that manipulate, touch and direct the perspective of the viewer. The works invite a new journey of discovery through the landscape and a fresh look at the Wadden.

The installation Camera Batavia by Arjen Boerstra was the center and inspiration of the project. Around this, a group of artists, no strangers to Oerol and Sense of Place, were invited to create five new works. These were: ‘Level’ by Bouke Groen, ‘Tumbling in Time’ by Sofie Doeland, ‘Here We Are’ by Theun Mosk, ‘Draaiing’ by Hart van Veen en ‘Luw’ by Firma Kluit.
